Privacy Policy for MedTrackAgent

This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for MedTrackAgent ("MedTrackAgent", "we", "us", or "our", operated by Pelo LLC). This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by our website and services (collectively, the "Services").

It will notify you of the following:

  • What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the Services, how it is used, and with whom it may be shared.
  • What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
  • The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
  • How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected via the Services, except for data processed by our third-party service providers as outlined below. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via the Services, email, or other direct contact from you. This includes:

  • Account Information: Name, email, password (managed via Clerk).
  • Professional Information: Details you enter or upload regarding your licenses, permits, and CME credits (including document contents if uploaded via Supabase Storage).
  • Payment Information: Processed by Stripe if you subscribe to premium services (we don't store full card details).
  • Usage Information: How you interact with the Services (collected via PostHog analytics).
  • Device Information: IP address, browser type, etc. (collected via PostHog or standard web logs).
  • Communications: Records of correspondence if you contact us (e.g., via help@medtrackagent.com).

We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information primarily to provide and improve the Services. This includes tracking your licenses/CME as you direct, sending reminders (if enabled), responding to you if you contact us, processing payments, and analyzing usage to enhance the platform.

We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill the Services, or as required by law. This includes sharing data with:

  • Service Providers: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosting, database, file storage), PostHog (analytics), Vercel (deployment), Google Cloud (potential document processing), Mailgun (email delivery). These providers are essential for the operation of the Services.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law or legal process.
  • Business Transfers: In case of merger, acquisition, or sale of Pelo LLC or MedTrackAgent assets.

Unless you ask us not to (where applicable, e.g., marketing emails), we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Your Access to and Control Over Information

You may opt out of any future marketing contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by accessing your account settings within the Services or by contacting us via the email address provided below:

  • See what data we have about you that is accessible via your account interface.
  • Change/correct any data you have provided via your account interface.
  • Have us delete data you have provided, subject to limitations needed for account operation, legal compliance, or transaction records. Note that deleting your account via Clerk may be the primary way to initiate broad data deletion.
  • Delete uploaded documents and associated data via the application interface.
  • Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we handle sensitive information directly or via our processors (like account credentials via Clerk or payment info via Stripe), that information is encrypted and transmitted securely. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Access to personally identifiable information is restricted to personnel of Pelo LLC who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service). The computers/servers (provided by Supabase, Vercel, Google Cloud) in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in secure environments maintained by these providers.

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time and all updates will be posted on this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
